Oral presentation guidelines
Oral presentations should be prepared by using PowerPoint.
Please bring your PowerPoint presentations on a USB (flash) drive to your assigned meeting room 15 minutes before your session begins. You can find the room in which your session in located in the Downloadable Program. Co-chairs are requested to be present at this time to ensure that all presentations are in place when the session begins. Volunteers will be available on-site to assist with the upload process.
A 20 minute time period is allocated for each presentation. Each oral presentation will be a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 17 minutes long. Presentations will be timed by session chairs and will be interrupted if longer than 17 minutes.
There will be a 3-5 minute Q&A after each presentation.
Poster presentation guidelines
Poster size:
Poster stands and poster boards will be provided for your posters.
Poster boards have dimensions of 96” X 48” (244 cm x 122 cm). Two posters will need to be accommodated on either side of the board.
Due to large demand for poster space, please restrict your posters to the size illustrated below. Posters must be in the portrait orientation.
All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board will be available at in the poster area.
Display Time
There will be two separate sets of poster display times: one set will be displayed 08:00 am–5:30 pm Monday August 26 and the other set 08:00 am–5:30 pm Tuesday August 27. We will communicate with you the exact date for display of your poster.
Authors-in-Attendance Time
The Authors-in-Attendance Time is the time when the respective author(s) of a poster session must be present at their display for presentation. The Authors-in-Attendance Time will be announced shortly.
