How to get from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) to the Westin Seattle

There are options:

1. Taxi, ~$40 (excluding tax and tip), about 35-40 min ride. There will be minimal waiting at the Taxi stations in parking building across street from the terminal building. Look for signs for Taxi, which  will lead you over a skybridge that connects the airport terminal building to one of the two Taxi stations in this building. There will be minimum waiting in line.

 

  1. Uber or Lyft, about 20-30% more expensive than Taxi in Seattle because of a special city tax. The pick-up place is on the same floor of the terminal parking building. You will need to wait a few minutes for your ride.

 

  1. The lowest-cost transportation is to take Link Light Rail ($3.50 & ~45 min ride). At the airport, follow the Light Rail signs that will lead you over a skybridge connecting the airport terminal building with the airport parking building, a left turn in the parking building after the bridge, a few minutes walk to the light rail ticket machines, and then an escalator to the light rail train platform, take the train in the direction of Seattle downtown. Get off at Westlake Station (see first picture below).  Exit using Exit A1 to get to Pine Street (second picture below). Look for Fifth Ave and take right turn on Fifth Ave.  Westin Hotel is one block away on Fifth Ave, to the north (third picture below).
